- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I was a patient at this office for 53 years and even worked there at one with the doctors who started that practice. There was a conflict with Dr. Douglas and she discharged me from her practice. This conflict was blown "out of proportion," and I feel that she should have called me into her office and discussed this with me personally before she just discharged me from her practice. She stated that I could contact the Henderson County Medical Society for referral to another doctor, but not one doctor would take me that I contacted because they were also associated with Pardee Hospital and they had a rule that if one physician associated with Pardee Hospital would not take me, then they could not either. My husband, who is 85 years of age and needs my help in caring for him; also went to Dr.Douglas and this meant that I had to try to find another physician through the Hederson County Medical Society and my husband would have to leave the practice also. This was very unfair as there were no problems that I was made aware of prior to this incident which took place over a period of 2-3 days.November 29, 2016by Rhonda Streadwick
